Youth Hike n Paddles are free events for children (ages 8-12) of diverse backgrounds to enjoy a fun-filled day of exploring, creating, and adventuring together in the outdoors!
Activities Include:
Naturalist-led hike to discover the area's Flora & Fauna
Art In Nature - A Creative Art Activity designed with a connection to nature
Beginner paddling instruction followed by a kayaking session
A chef-crafted, locally sourced, nutritious & delicious Lunch
Introduction to Leave No Trace principles
Learn about sustainable practices during lunch
Adults are encouraged to remain for our “Parents are Partners in Nature” program, taking place from 10 am to 11 am
