Protecting Our Waters —A Special Screening
Join Paddle4Tomorrow for a Free Film Screening & Discussion
The Chattahoochee River has been called "the greatest gift Atlanta has ever received," but its health and beauty are the result of decades of tireless advocacy. We invite you to join us at the Dog River Public Library for a special screening of the documentary:
"Saving the Chattahoochee" a film by Hal Jacobs
Why the Dog River Library?
We couldn't think of a better place to host this event. The library isn't just a building; it’s a gateway to the water. With walking trails leading directly to the Dog River—a vital tributary of the Chattahoochee—it serves as a physical reminder of why watershed protection matters right here in our backyard.
What to Expect:
The Film: A powerful look at the history, the struggles, and the triumphs of those who fought to protect the river.
Community Q&A: Stick around after the credits! We’ll be hosting a discussion about current watershed work, P4T’s youth programs, and how you can get involved in local conservation.
Meet the Team: Learn more about Paddle4Tomorrow (P4T) and our 2026 goal to keep Georgia's waterways clean and accessible for everyone.
Whether you’re a lifelong paddler, a local hiker, or just someone who cares about clean water, we’d love to see you there.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Date/Time: Saturday, February 7th, 1-3 pm
Location: Dog River Public Library
